Showcasing the future
of Sportponies
for breeders, competitors and enthusiasts!
We have all known over our lifetimes many wonderful
ponies who, in their lifetime, have taken our oldest child to
pony hunter stardom, then awarded our best friend’s son
a finals ribbon at Pony Club Jumper Nationals, taught our youngest
child good horsemanship on a cross country course and, once sadly
outgrown, have gone on to become a Combined Driving expert. These
ponies can pinch hit on a second’s notice in Polocrosse,
become an instant substitute on a Regional Junior Dressage Team,
and handle the duties required of a visiting aunt’s Sunday
afternoon mount. Occasionally, despite their heritage, they do
not fit in conventional standards for “pony” measurement.
They do or do not have an easily recognizable pedigree, and in
many instances are crossbred, devoid of any “Breed Registry
accolades”. They excel in every aspect of pony sport, even
outshining their larger counterparts in open competition. They
are the mount of choice for children and small adults at the lowest
and highest levels. These super versatile, incredible individuals
have long deserved this recognition for their expertise.
Breeders across the nation have banded together to support and
promote the exclusive and distinctive Sportpony types (registered
and un-registered, crossbred and purebred) produced in North America,
whose nobility, correctness, movement, scope, and character allow
them the abilities necessary to excel at high levels of Dressage,
Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, Driving.

said it best:
" God wanted to jump big, solid fences,
so he called upon the expert."
